dublin diary

Pretty much what I have been busy with this past week. Eating lots and of food and drinking coffee, and the best part is that I did all of this with my old friends. So happy I had the time to do this! I'm having a case of staycation already, but for now - back to reality!

Don't forget to follow me on instagram here!

Wednesday

skinflint

My first dinner in Dublin last week was in Crackbird, and now my goodbye dinner in Skinflint.
All too delicious!

Tuesday

1. Rainy day Temple Bar.
2. HATS.
3. First Starbucks red cups of the season. It's definitely winter. :)

Thursday

dame street

Crackbird, 60 Dame Street / Mr. Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe, 59 Dame Street

Surprised to a lovely night out when I landed in Dublin! Tried Crackbird for the very first time - finally! I've wanted to try it way back when it was still a pop-up restaurant (and when I still living here), but never got the time. Dimly lit room, drinks in jam jars, weird stools, what more do you want?

We had the chicken brochettes with lemon garlic bay-leaf, and buttermilk chicken. Then luckily enough, Mr. Simms sweet shoppe was still open and I swear we could have spent hours in there. Halloween date night at it's best. x

happy halloween, i'm off to ireland!

Saturday

distinctive dublin

To make things better about being homesick, I came across this video about Dublin and their sense of style. I think every word said in this video captures the city's people. They let you have room to express your style and creativity through more ways than one, and people enjoy it.

The city I've moved to is also the same and I love everything about it, but I guess it takes time to get used to things when you've adapted to certain ways. New friends and environment is always a good thing, but I miss miss miss Dublin so much. I can't wait to visit my friends and family in Dublin next month, and also my sister in London. Do you ever go to a place where you can say, "this is my city", well I'm certain my city is Dublin and London.

Tuesday

in the bag

We had a photoshoot in the Powerscourt Townhouse. Very minimalistic design of the third floor. Very clean and crisp like a chilly morning. I love.

Wednesday

badlands

Meet Alice. She's broken her sunglasses three times - with each break, an interesting story comes with it. She's used three different type of super-glues. Third time lucky.

This photo was taken at 22:00 in the evening. Amazing lighting.

So, the Irish winter begins. It's a different kind of cold. It gets into your bones - then you curse when you walk. That's not very nice.

Saturday

o'connell street

Stroll around O'Connell st. before college. Too cold to sit still.
